Biography
John T. Olvey of Hernando, Florida died Saturday, December 24, 2011. He was 48. Son of Lee Donne Olvey and Mary Kathleen Vance Olvey, he was born in West Point, NY on April 18, 1963. John was an Entrepreneur. He was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1986.
John is survived by his parents, Lee Donne and Mary Kathleen Olvey of Hernando, FL, daughters, Taylor Lenore Olvey and Regan Kathleen Olvey of Columbus, OH, brothers, Patrick Olvey of Columbus, OH, and Anthony Olvey of Tampa, FL, sister, Elisa Smalley of Chappaqua, NY, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Vera Costello.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Post Cemetery in West Point, NY.
